According to a Brazilian s site, the Moto G7 will be revealed in early February in Brazil ahead of MWC, which is scheduled for late February. According to that same website, Motorola’s phones have traditionally done well in the South American country, which may explain why it’s keen to launch there first. With February coming up us soon, expect to hear more about this.

Design Droid Shout In December 2018, Droid Shout gave us our first glimpse of what we believe to be the entire Moto G7 lineup. It shows all four phones have a similar aesthetic, though the notch appears to be different on the regular Moto G7. While it may be a bit of a surprise the Lenovo would add the notch to the least expensive Play version of its budget phone, a leaked image from a Federal Communications Commission filing confirms the screen design. GSMArena These images of the Moto G7 Play show a phone without the teardrop notch suggested for the G7 and G7 Plus, and also look to be using a plastic back, rather than a glass one. We’d expect nothing less of the more budget-focused G7 Play though, so it’s unlikely to be a deal-breaker for most buyers. The G6 Play‘s chunky bezels have been slimmed down for the G7 Play, with a much smaller forehead and chin.
According to the ruler in the first image, the Moto G7 Play looks to be a smaller overall package than the G6 Play. There’s still only a single-lens camera on the back, but it will come with a USB-C port. The Moto G7 and G7 Plus will sport a similar look.
